Power Wheelchair at 49999 in India with Free Shipping

Folding-Power-Wheelchair
Our Price : Rs 49999
A motorized wheelchair, powerchair, electric wheelchair or electric-powered wheelchair (EPW) is a wheelchair that is propelled by means of an electric motor rather than manual power. Motorized wheelchairs are useful for those unable to propel a manual wheelchair or who may need to use a wheelchair for distances or over terrain which would be fatiguing in a manual wheelchair. They may also be used not just by people with 'traditional' mobility impairments, but also by people with cardiovascular and fatigue-based conditions.

The electric Power Wheelchair was invented by George Klein, who worked for the National Research Council of Canada, to assist injured veterans after World War II.

Design
Powerchair design may be categorized by drive system/chassis, battery, controller, seat, and use.

Drive System/Chassis
Powerchairs are generally four-wheeled or six-wheeled and non-folding, however some folding designs exist and other designs may have some ability to partially dismantle for transit.

Four general styles of powerchair drive systems exist: front, centre or rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Powered wheels are typically somewhat larger than the trailing/castoring wheels, while castoring wheels are typically larger than the castors on a manual chair. Centre wheel drive Folding Power Wheelchair have castors at both front and rear for a six-wheel layout.

Former President Clinton, Dean Kamen and the iBot
Powerchair chassis may also mount a kerb-climber, a powered device to lift the front wheels over a kerb of 10 cm or less.

Power-Wheelchair-Zip-Lite
Our Price : Rs 49999
Some manual wheelchairs may also be fitted with an auxiliary electric power system. This can take one of three forms: integrated with the hub of hand-propelled wheels, so that any force on the pushrims is magnified by the drive system, or mounted under the wheelchair and controlled as for a Power Wheelchair Zip Lite, but with the motive force either transmitted to the main wheels via a friction drive system, or delivered directly through an auxiliary drive wheel.

Some experimental all-terrain powerchair designs have been produced with tracks rather than wheels, but these are not in common use.

Other experimental designs have incorporated stair-climbing abilities and Dean Kamen's iBOT design featured both stair climbing and the ability to 'stand' on its upended chassis via the use of advanced gyroscopic sensors. The iBOT was at one time a production model, but is no longer marketed.

Battery
The electric motors of powerchairs are usually powered by 12 to 80 ampere-hour rechargeable deep-cycle batteries, the smaller batteries are used in pairs to give the chair enough power to last at least one day between charges. These are available in wet or dry options. As wet-cell batteries may not legally be carried on an aircraft without removing them from the wheelchair and securing them in a shipping container, dry-cell batteries are preferred for powerchair use. Many powerchairs carry an on-board charger which can be plugged into a standard wall outlet; older or more portable models may have a separate charger unit.

Controller
A typical joystick controller
Controller
Controller
Controllers are most commonly an arm-rest mounted joystick which may have additional controls to allow the user to tailor sensitivity or access multiple control modes. The controller may be swing-away to aid in side-transfers. For users who are unable to use a hand controller various alternatives are available such as sip-and-puff controllers, worked by blowing into a sensor. In some cases the controller may be mounted for use by an aide walking behind the chair rather than by the user. Capabilities include turning one drivewheel forward while the other goes backward, thus turning the wheelchair within its own length.

'Thought-control' of powerchairs, actually working by the detection of brainwaves or nerve signals via sensors on the scalp or elsewhere, has been demonstrated in the laboratory environment.

Seat
The seating on a powerchair can vary in design. Starting with a basic sling seat and backrest made of vinyl or nylon, some chairs have an optional padding, some have more comfortable cushion and backrest options which may include a head rest. There are companies which can fit their own backrests and seat cushions for people with increased need for stability in the trunk, or at increased risk of pressure sores from sitting out. Finally, specialist seating solutions are available for users who need individually tailored support. Leg rests may be integrated into the seating design and may have powered adjustment for those users who need to vary their leg position. Power chairs may also have a tilt-in-space, or reclining facility for users who are unable to maintain an upright seating position indefinitely. This function can also help with comfort by shifting pressure to different areas for a while, or with positioning in a wheelchair when a user needs to be hoisted in.

Certain high-end powerchairs feature a 'standing' capability in which either the entire seat elevates to bring the user to standing height or the seat-base, seat-back and leg rests move in conjunction to bring the user into an upright position. The powerchair may or may not be able to move while in the elevated position.

Transportation
Most wheelchairs are crash tested to standards 7176, and ISO 10542. These standards mean that a wheelchair can be used facing forward in a vehicle if the vehicle has been fitted with an approved tiedown or docking system for securing the wheelchair, and a method of securing the occupant of the wheelchair.

Use
Powerchairs are generally prescribed for use by users who are unable to use a manual wheelchair. However, in both the US (Medicare and some private insurers) and the UK (National Health Service) powerchairs are generally not prescribed to users who have any ability to walk within the home, even if that ability is so functionally constrained as to be practically useless and where the user is unable to use a manual wheelchair independently. If in doubt, contact your doctor who may refer you for an assessment. Disability rights activists are campaigning for prescription procedures to focus on an individual needs based assessment rather than on inflexible application of prescription rules. The restricted prescribing leads to many users being forced to procure a solution privately, in some cases settling for a powerchair or a mobility scooter that is less than ideal to their needs but which falls within their budget. In the UK, under the NHS, patients are assessed individually and the criteria for prescription are used to guide the assessment process to help achieve a fair and equitable assessment.

The use of Powerchairs is not restricted solely to users unable to use manual chairs. Any disabled person with a mobility, fatigue or pain-based impairment or cardio-vascular issues may find a powerchair advantageous in some circumstances, however existing prescription practises generally means that powerchairs for such use must be privately procured or hired for the occasion. Consult your doctor or local wheelchair service if you are not sure.

Wheelchair Online Shopping Make Safe And Smart Choices

Wheelchair Shopping traditionally isn't something that you have to do anymore. Today you're able to find pretty much anything you need on the Internet. No longer must you venture out in the rain, push through crowds or spend too much for a given item. Use the tips below to have a great shopping experience.

Power-Wheelchair-With-Commode
Our Price : Rs 67000
Do more research on the online store you are interested in before ordering a product from them. If a store does not provide quality service or products, you will more than likely find some negative reviews published on other sites. It is best to stick to online stores with an excellent reputation.

After you have found the items you want, check to see if there are any coupons offered. There are many websites that offer coupons. These coupons can be a certain percent off, a certain dollar amount off or free shipping. Many times several coupons are offered. If this is the case, choose the one that will save you the most money.

Many online stores start sales as soon as Wednesday, so keep an eye out. A lot of physical stores start their sales on Saturday or Sunday, and to stay competitive, online stores start their sales earlier. You'll be able to find great deals in the middle of the week if you do your research online.

If you're considering buying a product online, check out the reviews. The reviews from other people that have used the product will be able to give you a good idea about the product. You may be able to find out the quality of the product, if it worked as described, and if you should make the purchase.

When you enjoy the convenience of frequent online shopping, it's very important to keep changing the passwords you use for each
account. Every couple of weeks or so, make up a new password for your bank and the shopping sites directly. Use abstract words, combined with numbers and other odd characters for the strongest passwords.

When shopping online, be sure the site you are on begins with Commode Power WheelChair. The "S" means that the site is secure, which entails that you can safely enter your personal information without having to worry about identity theft. If a site does not have the "S" in it, you may want to avoid using it.

Be wary of overdoing it. It is much easier to overspend when you are shopping online. You start to rationalize that you can spend more for those shoes because you saved money on gas and the food you would have gotten if you went to the mall, for instance. Give yourself a limit and stick to it.

Look into online shopping clubs. Sites like wheelchair Store have some tremendous offers. You not only find out about sales going on at different sites, but they pay you a percentage of your purchase when you buy from those sites. Seeing reviews from people that have purchased products can be really helpful, particularly when there are many choices.

A lot of sites specialize in comparison shopping. These sites do not directly sell products but provide shoppers with a detailed list of different stores offering an item as well as the prices. You should use this tool to do some comparison shopping before deciding where to purchase the product you need.

One tip for finding good online shopping deals is to be patient. Online sales and promotions run in cycles, so, if you can wait, it is good to do so. The cycle of sales, promo and coupon codes and other discounts will eventually come around again. Then, you will be able to find what you want at the lowest price.

Buying gifts and holiday shopping can be made so much easier by using the internet. You can purchase an item and have it shipped to the recipient without ever laving your home. You can also choose to buy a gift-card to a website that you know has items that they will like. This can save you time and money and ensure that the recipient will love your gift and thoughtfulness.

Before completing a purchase, be sure that the website is secure. There are a couple of ways to tell this. Check for the letters Power Wheelchair With Commode in the web address or look for an icon of a closed lock or an unbroken key at the bottom of your screen. Don't worry if the "s" is not included in the web address right away, sometimes it is only present on the checkout page.

Do comparison shopping before making any purchases. This is true to for traditional shopping, but online shopping makes it really simple. All you need to do is a quick web search for the product and see what prices come up. If there's a better price out there, you'll typically know pretty quickly.

The price you are given for an online purchase is usually not the exact price you will end up paying. For instance, taxes, fees, and shipping costs are not added on until the very end of the checkout process. Look at what the final cost will be before you decide whether or not to purchase something.

Before committing to an online purchase, be sure to do some research on the product you wish to buy. When you are in a wheelchair you want to feel safe. There are many different safety systems available that will help to give you that ‘safe' feeling.

Fighter Wheelchair

To prevent your wheelchair from tipping over backward, you can opt to have one or two anti-tip Fighter Wheelchair in situations where you lose your balance and are in danger of tipping over backward. Depending on your wheelchair setting, you will need this safety device to a greater or lesser extent. You may not always need these wheels in every situation, which is why there are a number of options for this application. The standard anti-tip wheels are height adjustable, but they can also be fully retracted in the wheelchair frame. Not only does this make it easier when transporting the wheelchair, but without the anti-tip wheels, the wheelchair looks very different.
wheels mounted. These wheels will protect you and your

Lateral support
To give you a safe feeling when riding in your wheel chair, you need to sit comfortably. That’s where it all starts. When turning corners you need lateral support. A set of side guards will give your lower body from your hips that extra support.

To give your upper body extra support, we have unique open backrests. The shape of this backrest and the material used enable you to sit as it were with your back in the backrest instead of against it. As a result, you will notice that your upper body also receives lateral support. The extent of the wedge seat adjustment (the difference between front and rear seat height) determines the extent to which you use the backrest for this.
809 B wheelchair
Our Price: Rs 5100

To prevent the wheelchair from tipping sideways around corners, choose camber. The skew angle of the rear wheels (available at 0, 3, 6 and 9 degrees) will stop this tendency. The more camber, the less the wheelchair will tip sideways.

Seat belt and headrest
To provide even more safety, especially when travelling by car, choose a lap seat belt accessory for your wheelchair. This will prevent you from falling forward out of your 809 Wheelchair. Seat belts are compulsory when driving in a car, as is a headrest. Do you wish to remain in your wheelchair when travelling by car? No problem! Your wheelchair will need to be fitted with an AMF fastening system.

Push bar
Elevated Footrest Wheelchair
Our Price: Rs 9180
Do you not feel sufficiently safe when you go out in your wheelchair and would you rather have someone assist you? Then opt to equip your wheelchair with a removable push bar. This is height adjustable and has the perfect shape for pushing your wheelchair. The hand position of the assistant is straight. On most wheelchairs, the push bar requires a twisted hand position, which may cause problems with the assistant’s arms. With our push bars, the push handles will not suddenly shoot out of your hands.

Front wheels
Choosing the correct front wheels contributes to the safety of your Elevated Footrest Wheelchair. Wheelchairs often get stuck between pavements or sink into soft ground, resulting in your wheelchair coming to an abrupt halt and sometimes it even tilts forward. Broader and larger front wheels will reduce this risk. An added advantage is that broader and larger front wheels offer you a quieter and more comfortable ride. Our product range includes a large choice of front wheels.

Quality, NEN, ISO, Crash test
Perhaps the most important factor for wheelchair safety is quality. You do not want your wheelchair to break down when you really depend on it. This is what we find so important! That is why our wheelchairs are developed and tested by independent institutes based on the international EU directive 93/42/EEC on medical aids. TÜV Rheinland tests the O4 wheelchairs according to the European wheelchair standard EN 12182. In addition, we also regularly test our wheelchairs using our own test methods. By complying with these requirements, O4 wheelchairs guarantee high quality. You are thus assured of a high-quality and safe wheelchair.
